A wet #1 Fairway

Last night the course received just over 20mm of rain with another few mm this morning. The rain was steady enough that it did not wash out any bunker faces but has left puddles in numerous spots around the course. The bunkers were pumped out as best as possible this morning but there might be a few small puddles still left. The fairways and greens are very wet. We ask that you keep the carts on high areas in the fairway and be gentle while walking on the greens. When the turf is soft, ball marks tend to be worse, so please find your ball marks on the greens are repair them.

This morning, due to the rain, greens mowing was postponed but will resume tomorrow. The blocks and garbage were changed, the pins were moved to high and dry areas on the greens surfaces and the bunkers were pumped of water.

Showers will linger throughout the morning and tapper off by the afternoon. It doesn't look like the sun will make an appearance today but the temperature will stay fairly mild around 17  degrees.

Stay dry and enjoy your round!
