Tee aerification on No. 11 this morning

The tees will be aerated today on the golf course.  Approaches will be done tomorrow and maybe start later this afternoon, depending on the tee aerification process. 

The greens aeration will be postponed until this Monday September 16th.  Sunday night's 40mm of rain saturated the course to preventing the scheduled greens aerification from commencing.  Monday, the greens will be aerified with smaller 1/4" tines then the 3/8" tines planned originally, to enable a full recovery before the tournaments scheduled later in the week.

The tees were aerified using 3/8" tines, cores shovelled off, and topdressed and overseeded for recovery after the busy golf season.  A similar process will be carried out on the approaches.

Yesterday the crew worked hard restoring the bunkers from the washouts during Monday's storm.  Today they will all raked using the Sand Pro.

The driving range was closed today from 9:00 to 12:00 for mowing.
