| Chris and Jay raise flag to signify start of season |
Today is opening day and the course is ready for full play on both nines. The course has dried up substantially over the last week to enable full use of golf carts. Green speed is 8.5 feet. Tee times begin daily at 9 am until Saturday of the May long weekend when the times go back to 8 am. The driving range will be open daily at 8:30 am to enjoy a pre-round warmup, and stay open until proshop close.
Today Environment Canada is calling for it to be cloudy with sunny periods, 60 percent chance of showers late this afternoon with a risk of a thunderstorm. High 23. UV index 6 or high.
The course washroom is closed temporarily as we attend to a leak in the pipe feeding the water supply. This should be fixed before Saturday a.m.
