June 13th

Today marks the end of public play and the start of the Summer Season.  Men's and Ladies' Day events commence this week with Men's Day this afternoon 1:30 shotgun. Tee times are now back to 7am.

Golf Carts ARE PERMITTED today for use.  Please scatter traffic to help avoid compaction on playing areas.

Today Environment Canada is calling for it to be cloudy with 40 percent chance of showers. High 17. UV index 5 or moderate. Tonight again cloudy with 40 percent chance of showers early this evening. Clearing after midnight. Low 9.

Greens and tees will be topdressed tomorrow Tuesday June 14 and will follow a reoccurring 2 week cycle for the rest of the summer (greens).

Overseeding Chewings fescue and bentgrass on fairways and topdressing will continue to over the next couple of days as part of our long term plan to eliminate excessive thatch build up and incorporate more stress tolerant grasses to improve the overall playability of the course but also reduce our need for water, fertilizer and pesticides.

Have a great round.
