June 22nd

This morning's radar image at 6:10 am

Looking at the radar this morning it looks as though it will be a wet Ladies' Day.  Environment Canada is calling for rain the next few days.  Today, a few showers ending this afternoon then cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers. Risk of a thunderstorm. High 20. UV index 4 or moderate. Tonight it will be cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers. Risk of a thunderstorm early this evening. Low 17.

Golf carts ARE PERMITTED at this time.  Please use cart paths where provided and follow white lines to avoid getting too close to green surrounds.

Green speed today is 9 down to 8 feet with predicted moisture levels increasing throughout the day.

Drainage installation behind 1 green

Work began yesterday on the drainage installation behind 1 green.  The pipe is now installed and gravel backfilled.  Some grading and sodding is now left to be completed.  This may be delayed due to weather over the next few days but it's great we had the opportunity to get the new pipe in the ground!

Work will continue on the brush cutting along the sixth hole today.  Brushing was done a couple of years ago but has grown in with many saplings since then.

Underbrush being removed on 6th hole today

A reminder that greens will be lightly topdressed this coming Tuesday morning June 28th (weather permitting).
