June 4th

Another successful Ladies' Golf Camp this year
Today Environment Canada is calling for it to be cloudy, with a 70% chance of showers this morning and early this afternoon. Becoming sunny with a mix of cloud. Risk of a thunder storm this morning and early this afternoon. High of 22. UV index 3 or moderate.

Golf carts ARE PERMITTED

Green speed today is 8 feet.

The FAIRWAY VERTICUTTING and FAIRWAY TOPDRESSING was completed yesterday. This process does a lot at eliminating thatch and providing smoother, firmer fairways with more ball roll.

The putting green was AERATED and TOPDRESSED yesterday to test the tine spacing of the aerator for early next week's scheduled aeration.

On Monday the FRONT 9 will be closed and the GREENS & TEES will be AERATED and TOPDRESSED. Tuesday the reverse will happen as the BACK 9 will be closed and the GREENS & TEES will be a AERATED.

Chris reports that the majority of the spring annual garden planting is now completed. Watch for dates for upcoming garden tours this summer for July and August.
