July 15th

Full moon over 10 green this morning

It's been a great stretch of weather since July arrived!  It looks like another great weekend predicted by Environment Canada.  Today it is supposed to be sunny with fog patches dissipating this morning. High 28 except 25 near Georgian Bay. UV index 9 or very high. Tonight: Clear with a low of 12.

Golf carts ARE permitted today.  Greens will be cut and rolled this morning.  Green speed is 9.5 feet.

A reminder that Saturday morning starting with 7:30 tee offs is the Challenge Cup.

Some sod plugs have been installed in the back of 12 green where roots from cork trees dried out turf.  This morning, plugs will be installed in the front of 5 green.

Underbrush removed around 7 tee

Underbrush cutting has continued on the course.  Around 7 tee was completed early this week.  Along the right side of 6 is in progress and should be completed by the end of the day.

Underbrush cut down along 6 to manage weeds and speed up play
