September 14th

Greens core aerated with 1/4" tines to remove thatch and minimize golfer distruption
Environment Canada is calling for a 60% chance of showers this afternoon. Todays High is 19 with a UV index of 3 or moderate. The Low tonight is 2 with risk of frost.

Golf Carts ARE permitted. Green speed is 8 feet with the recent aeration.

Greens will be topdressed this morning on the front nine. The back nine is closed for Greens and Approaches to be aerated. The 1/4" inch coring is a new process started this fall instead of the 1/2" coring to help avoid disruption of golf during the busy month of golf in September.  Recovery should be very quick and the playing conditions should be back to normal in a few days. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this important cultural practice.
