September 23rd

Congratulations to Another Successful Charity Event
Today Environment Canada is calling for it to be cloudy with showers this with a high of 16. Tonight: Showers ending near midnight then cloudy with 40 percent chance of showers. Temperature steady near 16. Saturday: Showers. High 19.

Golf carts ARE permitted at this time. Green speed is 9 feet with this morning's rainfall.

Tomorrow we look forward to the Mixed Member Guest in the afternoon with a 1 pm shotgun.

Next Tuesday morning the greens will be topdressed to fill in any light depressions that may remain from the recent aeration 10 days ago.

The greens have recovered well from the 1/4 inch hollow tine cultural practice. The benefits are to remove excessive organic matter, relieve soil compaction and allow water and air to penetrate the soil profile for a stronger grass plant.

Enjoy your round.
