June 6th

Moon over course early yesterday morning
Work continues today with aerating the fairway expansion/hot spot areas and overseeding them with chewings fescue and bentgrass in the appropriate locations.  Green surround shallow coring and overseeding continues as well with both processes being cleaned up on the back 9 prior to tomorrow's Ladies Golf Camp on the back 9.

Today Environment Canada is calling for it to be a mix of sun and cloud with 40 percent chance of showers. Risk of a thunderstorm this afternoon. High 23. UV index 6 or high. Tonight: Mainly cloudy with 40 percent chance of showers early this evening and risk of a thunderstorm. Clearing this evening. Low 9.

Golf carts ARE PERMITTED today for full use.  Please use cart paths where provided and stay back 30 feet from green surrounds.

The practice facility is closed for maintenance this morning and will re-open before 12pm.

Crew cleaning up cores from shallow aeration before seed is spread into holes.
A reminder that Greens and Tees will be aerated next Monday, Tuesday June 11 and 12.  Greens will be aerated with smaller 3/8" tines which will minimize disruption while still removing a modest amount of thatch.

Have a great round!
