Congratulations to all of the winners of this weekends Club Championships!!
Today Environment Canada is calling for sunny sky's with a high of 20 and a UV index of 5 or moderate.
The course is still very wet in isolated locations from the wet week, so please keep carts on paths where provided and avoid low lying wet areas.
Remember to fix your ball marks and repair divots on fairways with the sand and seed mix.
A reminder of the cultural practices underway next week to aid in the recovery of the golf course from the excessive heat and drought from this summer. Tuesday: greens will be vented and spot aerified with 1/2" cores in the bare/thin expansion areas to promote recovery with bentgrass overseeding. Fairway expansion areas will also be topdressed to help level these extended areas. Select thin rough will be aerified or slitseeded to promote hardier grasses that required less water, fertilizer and pesticides to promote healthy turf.
An application of Primo Maxx and foliar fertilizer will be applied to the greens this morning.
Enjoy your round!!!
