Scheduled greens fungicide sprayed delayed this morning by light shower activity |
Environment Canada is calling for a great sunny weekend other than Monday with a 60% chance of showers. This morning we are receiving a light shower as predicted which has delayed our fungicide spray on greens of Alliette Signature and Daconil Ultrex to protect against Anthracnose disease by one hour. Today's high is supposed to reach 28 degrees.
The greens verticutting and topdressing was completed yesterday. This treatment should help stand-up some grass to provide some prime, true green surfaces for the weekend and leading into the Men's Invitational Tournament later next week.
Carts ARE permitted however please use cart paths where provided and stay within white lines around green sites. Remember to repair your ball marks (plus others) and fill your divots on the fairways and rough with the seed bottles.
A reminder of the scheduled GREENS AERATION Tuesday September 11th and Wednesday September 12th.
Have a great long weekend!
