October 11th
A wet and cool couple of days here have delayed the completion of the drill and fill process on greens on the front 9 yesterday and today. Yesterday's rain storm activity halted progress on the remaining greens and approaches and will be postponed until Friday.
Today they are calling for 60 percent chance of rain showers or wet snow early this morning and then a few rain showers beginning this afternoon. Wind becoming west 30 km/h gusting to 50 this afternoon with a high of 10. Tonight: A few showers ending late this evening then clearing. Wind west 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming light late this evening. There is a great chance of frost with a low minus 3.
Golf carts should be limited to the BACK 9 ONLY today as it has become super saturated on the low lying, clay fairways.
Tree work began this morning to remove the smaller saplings blocking air movement behind No. 3 green. More work will be proposed to help with sunlight/shade, air movement issues of this microclimate for next season.
Have a great round!
