Sod was laid in areas yesterday where select trees and stumps were removed this winter. |
A much needed 25mm (1 inch) of rain fell in the last 24 hours re hydrating the course from the recent dry spell.
Environment Canada is calling for it to be mainly cloudy today, with wind becoming west 20 km/h late this morning and a high of 10 degrees. Tonight and tomorrow, look out for a few rain showers or flurries an wind becoming west 30 km/h later in the morning. A high of only plus 4 for Mothers' Day!
Golf carts ARE PERMITTED for full use today. The combination of the course needed the moisture and the anticipated low golfer turnout carts are good to go! Please keep away from any freshly laid sod. We have ropped off these areas but be sure to STAY OFF!
With the late spring, the bunkers continue to be prepared and should be up to normal conditions by the long weekend.
Two courts are open at the Tennis facility for any of those wishing to get out for a match. Work on the remainder of the courts will commence this coming week by Court Contractors.
The driving range will remain closed until further notice as it continues to drain down as the high water levels recede.
Have a great round!
