Single Digits Over Night

The view from 13 Ladies tee.

Even though the days have been sunny and warm, the night time temperatures are dropping below 10 degrees. Environment Canada is calling for it to be mainly sunny, with a high of 23 degrees and a UV index of 8 or very high. There are no tournaments scheduled for this weekend, regular tee times will start at 6:42 on the Front 9, and 7:42 On the back 9.  The course has started to firm up after all of the rain that we have received, but there are still a lot of wet spots out there. Carts ARE available for use today, please stick to cart paths and high areas where provided. Please play any sodded areas as ground under repair.

With high night time temps predicted for Monday on some preventative applications will be made this upcoming week to help suppress Summer Patch on Greens, and Dollar Spot on Tees. We will be using Banner Maxx on the Greens and Civitas on the Tees. The Greens will be sprayed with Primo Maxx and Foliar Fertilizer on Monday to help slow down the growth of the Creeping Bentgrass, and Annual Bluegrass. The green will also be lightly topdressed on Tuseday.

Enjoy your round!!
