Happy Canada Day!

The full crew returns this morning to prep the course for Canada Day.  All the main playing surfaces including the mowing of greens, tees, fairways, collars & approaches will be completed.  The greens will also be rolled and the pins changed.  The rough around the green surrounds will be mowed and the rough tractor will start making its way around the golf course starting on No. 1.

The greenside bunkers were repaired yesterday morning after Sunday's storm.  Today the fairway bunkers will be pumped out, shoveled up and raked for today's golf rounds.

There is a large storm coming our way this morning.  Hopefully the course doesn't get hit too hard as we just received 40mm of rain in the last couple of days and the course could use the drying time. Today Environment Canada is calling for increasing cloudiness then 70 percent chance of showers or thunderstorms this morning and early this afternoon. Becoming a mix of sun and cloud this afternoon. Wind becoming south 30 km/h this morning then light this afternoon. High 26. UV index 8 or very high.
