Due to our somewhat abnormal spring, the course is very firm. This has resulted in very favorable playing conditions. Ball roll off tee shots and firm consistent greens are here right from the start. These are usually conditions that come a little later in the spring but due to the weather and the continued hard work of the greens staff, the course is playing amazing.

Today, mother nature looks a little confused. The last few days have had chances of rain but held off. Today, however, it looks like we might get caught in the crossfire. Rain is suppose to begin this morning but be on and off all day. Temperatures are suppose to reach a high of 28 with a possible thunder shower.
This morning, the greens crew will be raking bunkers, mowing greens and rotating the tee blocks. If you're out playing today, you will notice a few roped off areas. These areas contain wet spots and winter damage. If everyone could treat these areas as ground under repair, this would be much appreciated. You will also notice that there is a large roped off area on number 2. This drainage is scheduled to be repaired early this week.
Hopefully the weather cooperates for all you weekend warriors! Enjoy your round!
