For the second weekend in a row, it looks like the weather is going to be perfect. With highs of 26 both Saturday and Sunday, sun screen will be needed! A light breeze will be around most of the weekend, which will help with the expected humidity.
On the course this morning, the crew will be changing the pins, rotating the blocks, cutting the greens, rolling the greens and raking the sand traps.

Looking back on #15 |
This coming week, another important plant health task is going to be completed. For the second time this season, we are planning on verticutting the tees. This process has very little disruption and is extremely beneficial to plant health. Not only does is firm up the playing surface, but by removing built up plant material, you're now creating a better environment for the turf to live in.
With the continued high temperatures, the re-leaving of heat stress throughout the course will be an important job. This means water will be coming on in certain areas for syringing cycles. This is a quick run of the sprinklers which brings down the temperature in the canopy of the turf. We ask for your patience during this process as it is very important.
Enjoy the fantastic weather and have a great round.
