Today Environment Canada is calling for it to be sunny with increasing cloudiness late this afternoon. High 22. UV index 8 or very high. Tonight it will be cloudy with 40 percent chance of showers. Low 14.
Golf carts ARE PERMITTED today. Green speed is a slower 8 feet with recent greens aeration.
It's been a busy two weeks for cultural practices on the golf course which are now completed:
- Fairway verticutting
- Fairway topdressing
- Fairway hot spot overseeding
- Greens aeration, overseed, topdressing and fertilizing
- Tee aeration, overseed, topdress and fertilizing
This coming week on Monday and Wednesday the Men's and Ladies' days start on their usual schedule. Thursday is the Ladies' Invitational which should be a fun filled event with Christmas in June being the theme for the day!
Tee times go back to 7 am this Monday June 13th. The driving range will follow it's usual closure schedule but will be open one hour earlier at 6:30 am daily.
Greens and tees will be topdressed again next Tuesday June 14th and will follow a reoccurring 2 week cycle for the rest of the summer (greens).
