May 6th

1st application for Annual Bluegrass Weevil

Today Environment Canada predicts it to clear this morning with a High of 20 and UV index of 7 or high. Tonight will have increasing cloudiness with a Low of plus 7.

Golf carts ARE PERMITTED. Please stay to paths where provided whenever possible as there are still quite a few wet areas out there.

Today we will be spraying the 1st of 2 applications for Annual Bluegrass weevil with the product Pyrate 480 EC. We had some feeding damage around a few perimeters of our greens late last spring and have been scouting weekly for them again this year in accordance with our IPM program. A reminder that greens will be topdressed this coming Tuesday May 8th. Some of the scheduled maintenance had to be bumped to a future date due to saturated conditions.

Have a good round!
