May 30th

Clubhouse sodding completed yesterday
Quite a swing in the weather.  After Monday's record breaking hot day that reached 32 degrees, the temps have tapered off down to 11 degrees last night and a high of only 20 degrees predicted today.  They were threatening rain but not a drop fell at the course the last couple of days.  May has been extremely dry as we are close to 4 weeks without any significant rainfall.

Golf carts ARE PERMITTED today.  Please scatter cart traffic and use paths where provided whenever possible.

Today the driving range is closed until noon for weekly maintenance.

Greens are being fertilized with a granular 13-1-13 today and watered into the turf canopy.

Taking advantage of the warm weather this year, the landscape crew is well into the spring plant-up of annuals around the clubhouse grounds.  This work is normally not started until June after the threat of frost has ceased.

Have a great round!
