May 4th

Prepping for sod on No.14 tee to repair low spots winter damage
Another 12 mm of rain yesterday tallied the total rainfall over the last couple days to just over an inch.  While the course could use a good warm rain to get the turf into high gear, cart usage will be restricted to MEDICAL USE ONLY today with the saturated conditions.

Despite this week's prediction of warmer weather, yesterday only reached 14 C with the lack of sunshine.  Nothing is drying up from the rain right now.  We need some more heat to dry things out and get some good growing weather for the turf.  You know that weather has arrived when you don't need any blankets to sleep at night!  Got to remain patient I guess...

The course washroom is now open for use between No. 7 and No. 12 tees after repairs completed.  Water stations are now out on Hole No. 5 and No. 14.

A reminder that greens will be topdressed this coming Tuesday May 8th.  Some of the scheduled maintenance had to be bumped to a future date due to saturated conditions.

Have a good round!
