June 1st

It's the first of June and we are prepping the course for upcoming weekend which ends with the Dave Ellis Pro Am charity event Sunday practice round/Monday tournament.

At this time course is very firm and fast with dry conditions through May with 4 weeks without any significant rainfall.  Pink sky in the morning, and radar indicate a storm coming up from the south which looks like it will guarantee some rain!

Environment Canada is calling for rain to begin this morning with 10 to 20 mm expected. Wind becoming east 40 km/h gusting to 60 late this morning. High 15. Tonight: Rain possibly heavy at times. Amount 20 to 30 mm. Wind east 40 km/h gusting to 60 becoming south 20 after midnight. Low 11.

Carts usage IS PERMITTED at this time and will be assessed later today and early Saturday depending on amount of rain received and ground conditions.

Today is a routine mow and course setup day with no significant projects to report other than PBS 150 wetting agent is being applied to fairway hot spots dry areas to increase water holding capacity.

Stay dry and have a great round!
