June 7th

Cleaning up coring and overseeding fairway hot spots No. 13 yesterday
Today and Friday the Ladies Golf Camp is taking place on the back 9.  Therefore, member play will be on the front 9 only until Saturday morning.

We were fortunate to have a little shower last night around 7pm of 0.14 inches which suspended our night's scheduled irrigation saving pumping costs.  Today Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud with 30 percent chance of showers this afternoon with risk of a thunderstorm. Fog patches dissipating early this morning. Wind becoming northwest 20 km/h this afternoon. High 24. UV index 8 or very high. Tonight: Partly cloudy with 30 percent chance of showers early this evening and risk of a thunderstorm. Clearing this evening. Fog patches developing before morning. Wind northwest 20 km/h becoming light this evening. Low 8.

Golf carts ARE PERMITTED for full use today.  Please use cart paths where provided and still 30 feet back from green surrounds.

The coring/overseeding of fairway hot spots/expanded areas + green surrounds will focus on finishing up the process on the front 9 today.

Many areas have been roped off to keep traffic off where we have core aerified and overseeded.

A reminder that greens and tees will be aerified Monday, Tuesday next week.  The front 9 will be closed Monday for aeration, then reopen Tuesday when the back 9 will be closed to complete the process.

Have a great round!
