Today's greens aeration is well underway. The front 9 is already completed and topdressed and re-opened. With the weather forecast for rain tomorrow, we will get the back 9 completed today to ensure we get the process completed and back to normal conditions as soon as possible.
The quarter inch tines we are using have minimal impact on the putting surface, but still allow for the removal of some unwanted thatch and compaction. The heavy topdressing will fill in the holes and help smooth out the surface from any ball marks or footprints.
