Challenge Cup/ Family Golf Weekend

Yesterday, the golf course received a much needed shot of rain. A total of 13mm of rain fell throughout the day. This was much needed in areas like the rough and some tees that got stressed out from the verticut earlier in the week. Carts will be available for full use but there are some wet areas. We would ask that you please be careful of these wet areas and not drive directly through them.

This morning on the course, the bunkers will be the main focus. Due to the age of the bunkers, even a little bit of rain can be disruptive. The crew will be focusing on getting the water out, making sure sand depths are proper and giving them a final rake. Also, blocks will rotated and the greens will be cut.

bug spray on #1 tee

We understand that the bugs can be brutal here in Muskoka. The picture above shows a spot on #1 tee where someone has sprayed bug spray on their legs. The mist landed on the leaf blade and damaged them. We ask that you please apply all bug spray on cart paths to avoid this ugly situation.

Today's weather is suppose to be very sticky. The humidity will bring temperatures that feel like 35 and could bring afternoon thunder showers. Make sure to bring lots of water and sun screen with you on the course today.

Enjoy the sunny weather and have a great round!
