June 1st

We just went through a day of very unseasonably warm weather. The temperatures are going to go back to more seasonal norms over the next several days.

Today Environment Canada is calling for it to be sunny with wind becoming west 30 km/h gusting to 50 this morning. High 20. UV index 9 or very high. These windy conditions will help dry up the course. Tonight they are predicting it will be clear with wind west 30 km/h gusting to 50. Low 8.

GOLF CARTS are PERMITTED today. However please you caution and avoid any wet areas that still remain. Use cartpaths where provided and obey all cart traffic signs and white lines.

Today the FAIRWAY VERTICUTTING will continue to complete the back 9.  Yesterday holes on the north side 13, 15, 16, 17, 18 were completed.  Fairway topdressing will start now in behind holes that are finished.  By the end of the day we hope to be done the verticutting on the back 9 and start on the front 9 holes 1-3.

Also just another reminder that the GREENS and TEES will be AERATED next week starting on Monday June 6 and 7th. The Wednesday June 8th will be used if a rain day is necessary.
