Another 3mm of rain fell yesterday morning that ended up cancelling the Ladies' Day event.
Hopefully today's weather cooperates as the Ladies host Windermere for an interclub event starting with 8:30 tee times.
Today Environment Canada is calling for it to be a mix of sun and cloud. 30 percent chance of showers this morning. Wind becoming northwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 late this morning. High 23. UV index 7 or high. Tonight:Clear. Wind northwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 becoming light this evening. Low 9.
Golf carts ARE permitted. Please avoid wet areas and use cart paths where provided. Please remember to repair ball marks on greens.
A reminder next Tuesday August 16th the tees will be solid tine aerated, seeded, topdressed and fertilized to start the recovery process of the stressful summer weather.
The Club will be hosting a USGA agronomist tour for local superintendents sponsored by a fertilizer company called Plant Science this morning from 6:30 am to 9:30 am. Up to 40 area superintendents/assistants will be walking the course to learn solutions to various issues concerning golf course management.
