Core cleanup on front 9 greens, tees and approaches |
After yesterday's 30 degree weather, Environment Canada is calling for it to be sunny with a high of 31 again today. UV index 7 or high. With the hot, hazy weather they are predicting thunderstorms to roll in this evening with a low of only 17.
Depending on the amount of rainfall received over night will dictate whether the back 9 aeration gets delayed until Wednesday (rain date). However we will make that decision tomorrow morning.
The greens have been aerated with smaller 3/8" tines to minimize the disruption of the playing surface while still removing thatch. This can be done this way since we have accomplished minimal thatch levels through a committed program of aeration over the years.
