June 12th

Greens aeration on the front 9 was successfully completed yesterday.  Tees and approaches were also aerated.  Greens on the front 9 have already been topdressed and will be cut and rolled prior to play this morning.  Tees and approaches will be topdressed on the front 9 today.  Green speeds are expected to be slightly below our target levels with softer ground conditions and moisture levels from 8mm of rain received last evening.

Today the back 9 will be closed for aeration.  Approaches on the back were aerated later yesterday afternoon and the cores will be cleaned up this morning.  There is now a storm system coming our way from the west so we will delay the green and tee aeration on the back 9 until the storm rolls through.  Hopefully we are able to complete the back 9 later today.

Storm coming our way this morning
Today Environment Canada is calling for it to be cloudy with a few showers beginning early this morning and ending late this morning then 60 percent chance of showers this afternoon. Risk of a thunderstorm and a high of 22. UV index 3 or moderate. Tonight:  Clearing with wind becoming west 30 km/h later this evening then light after midnight. Low below double digits to 9 degrees.

Enjoy your round!
