June 23rd

It's looking like a great day with Environment Canada calling for it to be sunny with a high of 26. UV index 8 or very high. Tonight: Clear with increasing cloudiness before morning. Low 11.

Golf carts ARE PERMITTED for full use.  Please scatter cart traffic and use cart paths where provided.  Stay well back from green surrounds not crossing white lines.

Remember to do your part by fixing ball marks and repairing divots.  The seed bottles can be used on the fairways AND rough this season.

There was an out break of DOLLAR SPOT disease with the weather pressure this week.  We made a curative application of fungicide on Wednesday on the sandy holes 10, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18 to stop the spread of the tiny dollar sized lesions on the turf.

ANNUAL BLUEGRASS WEEVIL damage is evident in spots on the tees.  An application of Acelypryn was applied to control damage from the larvae feeding.  Areas have been overseeded to promote recovery of these areas and fill in with a stronger, hardier turf type other than poa annua.

A reminder that greens and tees will be topdressed this Tuesday June 26th in the morning.

Have a great round!
