Today there will be a morning shotgun at 8 am for regular member play prior to this afternoon's Men's Day shotgun at 1:30 pm.
It is a regular course setup day today back from the weekend with greens, approaches, fairways, rough and bunkers prepared for play. A foliar fertilizer spray on greens will follow the greens mowers this morning.
Environment Canada is calling for increasing cloudiness today with 60 percent chance of showers or thunderstorms this afternoon. High 30. UV index 6 or high. Tonight: Mainly cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers or thunderstorms early this evening. Clearing this evening. Low 17.
The focus this week will be on the bunkers. The greenside bunkers will all be edged, checked for uniform sand depths and sand added if necessary.
Golf carts are permitted today for full use. Please be conscious of avoiding dormant stressed turf areas and scatter traffic to prevent concentrated wear patterns. Keep carts to paths on par 3's.
