Today it will be sunny for Ladies' Day then becoming a mix of sun and cloud this afternoon with a high of 28. UV index 6 or high. Tonight: It will be partly cloudy with a low of 15.
Golf carts ARE PERMITTED for full use. Please use cart paths where provided and follow white lines around green surrounds to scatter concentrated wear.
An application of Merit insecticide will be applied on the back 9 this morning prior to Ladies' Day to control white grubs from the Japanese Beetle which has commenced egg laying in the turf.
The fairways will be rope dragged this morning using THE FAIRWAY SNAKE to reduce the incidence of dollar spot disease by minimizing the leaf wetness.
Thin fairway spots will be spot overseeded using the TURFCO TRIWAVE 60 over the next couple of days in the fairway expansion areas where there is very little amounts of bentgrass and and thinning as a result. These areas will be lightly topdressed in the afternoon and matted.
The driving range will be closed from 9:30 to 12:30 today for maintenance.
A reminder that greens will be topdressed the morning of this coming Tuesday August 14th.
