No. 5 green has shown excellent recovery and will be re-opened for play today |
We received 10mm of welcomed rain last evening! The weather conditions are supposed to remain warmer till Thursday, allowing us some good growing weather finally to aid in the greens recovery progress. Tonight's night-time low is predicted to stay above 17, mixed with rainfall which is the ideal mix for developing the emerging grass seedlings!
No. 5 green has shown excellent recovery results and will be re-opened for play today. Temporary greens will remain on No. 2, 14, 17, 18 until further notice. These greens and other select spots on others around the property will receive another dose of overseeding to encourage a denser stand of turf.
The paving of No. 14 tee is supposed to take place Wednesday (weather permitting) and the remainder of sod will be installed following the cart path crew before this weekend.
The driving range will remain closed until further notice. The lake levels have now dropped enough to facilitate pumping down the area assuming we don't receive too much rain this week.
Golf carts ARE PERMITTED for full use today. Please use paths where provided and avoid low lying wet areas.
Have a great round!
