With temperatures dipping down to 3 degrees last night the crew came in to another frost delay, this set greens mowing and our monthly application of Primo Maxx on the Fairways back to 9:30. Cleanup will continue today along the right side of 3 Fairway, as well as behind 1/3 Green.
Environment Canada is calling for it to be Sunny with a high of 18, and a UV index of 5 or moderate. The long range forecast is calling for warm sunny days in to next week.
Fairways will be sprayed this morning with Primo Maxx. Tees will be sprayed on Thursday Morning.
Don't forget that the Mixed member guest is this Saturday with a 1:00 shotgun. Regular play is available at 9:00 am. Also the Lions Club Tournament is this Sunday again with a 1:00 shotgun, and regular play at 9:00 am.
The Fairways will be Verti-cut starting this coming Monday and Tuesday, and Tees will be done on Wednesday. This process is done to remove unwanted Thatch, and to help promote the vertical growth of bentgrass.
