Warm and Sunny

The last two weeks have been extremely nice out. The unusually high temperatures for spring will continue this weekend. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 23 today along with a high UV index, so do not forget your sunscreen.
This past week was an extremely busy week for the greens crew. It was truly the week of sod as the greens crew did a sod blitz to patch up areas in the rough and fairway. You will notice that spots along the side of holes 8 and 17 fairway have shrunk. We have taken that fairway sod and repaired other fairway spots throughout the golf course. Along with all the fairway repair, 14 skids of rough sod was brought in to repair spots in the rough. With all this new sod put down, you will notice ropes and white paint outlining these areas. We ask that you please respect and treat these areas as ground under repair and remove your ball from them.

Number 7 yesterday evening
This morning, the weekend crew changed the blocks, mowed the greens, rolled the greens, changed the pins and raked the bunkers. Throughout the day, there will be members of the turf crew out on the course watering the newly placed sod. This is extremely important with new sod and we ask that you keep an eye out for these members of the crew as they will be at various spots around the course.
Enjoy the fantastic weather today and have an excellent round!
