Tournament day is shaping up to be a very hot one. With the humidity, the temperature will feel close to 34 degrees. This is going to bring a high chance of thunder storms this afternoon. Remember to also bring your sunscreen as the UV index will once again be very high.
Between the shotguns, a light watering program will be in effect to cool the greens down. During hot times, the surface temperature of the greens surfaces can be much hotter than what the air temperature actually is. Along with the low height of cut, the warm temperatures will stress the greens out. Our job is to provide a consistent playing surface for our members, and by syringing the greens during stressful times, providing that consistent product is possible.

Regular duties were preformed this morning in preparation for today's event. The greens were mowed, the greens were rolled, the pins were changed, the blocks were rotated and finally the bunkers were raked.
Enjoy the warm weather and have a great round!
