Sun Block & Water

9 Green Being Mowed Yesterday Morning
After the beautiful day yesterday high got up to 22 degrees. Today Environment Canada is calling for it to be mainly sunny  with a high of 26, and UV index of 9 or very high. The greens will be cut and rolled today, as well as pins and blocks changed and bunkers raked. Divots will be done on all the Par 3's an select Par 4's this morning. Carts ARE available for full use today, please try to avoid low lying areas, and keep to the cart paths where provided.

Just a reminder that Men's day is tomorrow with a shotgun at 1:30 PM, regular play will be available in the 8 AM shotgun and 6 pm Tee Times, for anyone who would like to enjoy a round of golf tomorrow.

Greens will be sprayed with Primo Maxx Growth Regulator, and Foliar Fertilizers tomorrow morning. On Tuesday the greens will receive a much needed Verti-cut with a light topdress to follow.

Please remember to fix any ball marks you may make on the Greens, and tap your shoes when exiting the bunkers.

In sports yesterday, Eugenie Bouchard looked to be the first Canadian to win the Major Championship at Wimbledon, unfortunately she fell short and lost in straight sets. Canadian Vasek Prospal and his playing partner Jack Sock won the Men's Doubles at Wimbledon yesterday afternoon. In world cup news Argentina defeated Belgium 1-0, while the Netherlands and Costa Rica went to penalty kicks where the Dutch won 4-3. the Last four Teams that remain are Brazil-Germany, Tuesday at 4pm, and Argentina and The Netherlands, Wednesday at 4pm.
