Foggy Morning

It will be a foggy start to the day, with cool temps overnight causing wide spread fog. The high for today is expected to reach 24, and a UV index of 5 or moderate. The greens were cut and rolled today, bunkers have been touched up, and will receive and full rake tomorrow morning.

The Port Carling Lions Club members will be having their annual golf tournament tomorrow afternoon with a Shotgun going off at 1:00 PM. There is regular play available at 9:00 AM.

Greens will be sprayed with Primo Maxx Growth Regulator on Monday morning. The Fairways will be cut on a diagonal pattern this coming week to help get a better cut on the grass that has been laid over. They will be verticut following the cut on Monday morning to help remove unwanted thatch.

Fairways to receive Verticut Monday Morning.

There are still a few low spots on the course that are soggy, please try to avoid these areas when you are out enjoying you round today.
