With the recent rain last weekend and during this week (40mm), the course remains extremely wet especially in the low lying areas. Golfers this weekend need to take care and keep carts on paths where provided and be mindful to stay high and dry and avoid low areas whenever possible to prevent causing unnecessary damage to the course. Be sure to stay on the fairway if it is higher and drier then the rough.
Looking at the historic weather data, we've received over 220mm of rain since the beginning of April which is 5x the 42mm five year average during this period!
With this excessive moisture it has prevented the necessary drying time to allow favourable ground conditions to finish the renovations in around No. 6 green and No. 7 tee. Progress is moving along much slower than anticipated as a result.
On the positive side, the new irrigation has been installed around the new bunkers on No. 6. The rock wall behind the green at the base of the showcase garden has been replaced. The gravel for the new path from 6 tee to 7 tee has been installed.

Golfers playing hole No. 6 on the weekend as the green reopens should keep carts on the new gravel path and avoid the wet muddy areas around the green to avoid slipping and prevent tracking it on the green with their shoes.
Thanks for your patience during these uncontrollable conditions.
