Course Is Open and Ready for Mother's Day Weekend

Hole No. 13 Opening Day

After postponing last weekend's opening due to wet weather, the course finally opened on Thursday May 11th for the season.  The course is in great shape and will make for some great conditions once things dry up.

The wet weather has also delayed the start to the completion of work on No. 6 and 7.  We are at least a couple weeks behind now waiting for the ground conditions to be favourable to run shaping equipment in the area.

Hole # 6 is closed, and Hole #7 has a temporary tee for all golfers at the start of the fairway. Completion of these renovations is weather-dependent, and we anticipate holes 6 & 7 being fully opened shortly. Please travel back along rough on No. 5 and turn right between the new fairway bunkers to get to start of No. 7 fairway where tee blocks have been temporarily placed.

YOU ARE STILL REQUIRED TO ENTER YOUR SCORES FOR HANDICAP PURPOSES
Please post Par plus any handicap strokes that you are entitled to receive on hole #6 & #7.

With only a little over three weeks to the Dave Ellis, I predict the work around No. 6 green will be sodded, but the work on No. 7 tee will continue later in June.  Thank you for your understanding.

Greens core aerated before opening
You will notice the greens were aerated prior to opening this year.  This is a change we made in an attempt to avoid aerating the 2nd week of June, which interfered with the Ladies' Member Guest during that time period.  While the greens may be a little bumpy for the start, they will now be good for all season.

Happy Mother's Day!
