| Solid tine aeration on isolated thatchy, compacted areas yesterday |
Weak, thatchy, compacted turf areas were solid tined aerated yesterday in isolated areas on tees, fairways and roughs. These areas will be overseeded and topdressed to establish stronger, more stress tolerant grasses in these areas that will have less reliance on irrigation, fertilizer and chemicals; a more sustainable, environmentally sound approach going forward. Aeration holes make a great seed-bed and allow water and air to penetrate into the root zone.
