COURSE PLAYABILITY
Ground Under Repair - Treat all new sodded areas IN ROUGH as 'ground under repair'. No. 18 fairway has been overseeded to recover ice damage. Treat any bare areas on No. 18 as 'ground under repair'.
Greens - Greens will be cut and rolled for today's round. Green speeds are a little slower then normal with soft conditions from aerification, wet conditions and extra topdress material to fill in holes. Green speeds expected to be approximately 8-9 feet depending on greens the individual green's drainage characteristics and firmness.
Rough - The crew starts back up today focusing on green surrounds with the light-weight rough mowers and hole by hole with the big drag behing unit which may have to avoid wet areas.
Bunkers - The bunkers will be shoved and raked this morning after yesterday's rainfall. There may be some standing water that will need to be pumped in some of our poorly draining end of life bunkers.
Driving Range - The driving range is closed until further notice. The PTO pump now only runs through the day with noise restrictions now in play. We are now still continuing to gain on draining down the water. If weather cooperates and we don't receive too much rain we should be able to have the range open for July 1.
Course Etiquette - Please remember to repair ball marks and replace divots. If carrying your golf bag and using the sand tubes, please use on FAIRWAYS ONLY. Maintenance staff repairs all tee divots and uses a different seed then what is used on fairways.
COURSE MAINTENANCE
Today is a full mow day after the weekend in preparation for today's Men's Day event which includeds greens, fairways and approaches.
