Fathers Day Sunday

The comfortable temperatures will continue on this Sunday. The high today is suppose to hit 23 with afternoon sun. With the afternoon sun, the UV index will reach a very high 8. The downside to this Sunday is that the mosquitos are very bad. Make sure you bring your Muskoka cologne (bug spray) when packing your golf bag for the day.

Today, the crew changed the pins, rotated the tee blocks, raked the bunkers and cut the greens. The greens will continue to be on the soft side due to the aeration earlier this week. The bunkers are all raked but could still have a few wet spots in the odd one.

Just another quick reminder that there is newly sodded and seeded areas throughout the course that we will again ask you to be mindful of. These areas should be treated as ground under repair.

Today is also the final round of the U.S. Open. Hopefully everyone gets a chance to see a little bit of the newly renovated course and if Martin Kaymer can hang on to win it all!

Last but certainly not least, Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad's of MLGCC! Enjoy your day and have a great round!
