Last big push before July

New 10T path being prepped for ashpalt being installed on Thursday
Greens Update:

In the coming week, with school out, and July here, the switch will be turned on and all sports and food & beverage services will be running at full capacity as the summer of 2015 kicks-in into full gear!

This week the Greens crew is focusing on tidying up any loose ends, with more focus on some of the perimeter details.  More sand will be placed in bunkers needing a little top up.  Low spots on No. 5 and 7 fairways will be raised and sodded.  The right side of No. 1 will be opened where the winter damage occurred in the coming week, if weather conditions permit.

The expanded cartpaths at the driving range will be completed to allow easier access to the tee for golfers and maintenance without having to drive on any grassed areas.  The 10 tee path will be cut out and paved to remove the unsightly low spot at the end of the existing path.  Gravel will be placed in the rental cart fleet parking area to clean up area where grass has difficulty growing from excessive traffic.

Pro Shop Tips of the week

Hole 1:
On your tee shot, favour the right side. All of the trouble is left of the fairway in the trees

Hole 2:
The slopes on this green are very subtle. Don’t play as much break as it appears on your putts
