Summer Solstice

This morning was a slightly damp start to the summer. 10mm of rain fell early this morning here at the course. This rain was much welcomed after the last few dry days and warm evenings. Having said that, the rest of the day looks fantastic. High humidity could stir up an afternoon shower but for the most part, it looks to be a great day ahead.

This morning on the course, greens will be mowed, pins and blocks will be rotated and the bunkers will be raked.

Not only is today the first day of summer, but it is also Fathers Day. We would like to wish all the fathers here and the club a Happy Fathers Day. There will be a delicious Fathers Day brunch today in the clubhouse to get everyone fueled up for their great round. Hopefully everyone has enough energy to catch the final round of the U.S. Open at beautiful Chambers Bay.

Enjoy the day and have a great round!
