Another day without rain, and it's nice to see the final touches coming together on No. 6 and 7 with the arrival of the paving crew this morning. Fowler's will be paving the new path from the end of the interlock at the bottom of the hill on No. 6 back tee all the way to the new forward tee on No. 7.
As a result of the construction, hole No. 6 and No. 7 tees will be closed today and Friday. This will allow the work to be completed and give the ashpalt time to cure before cart traffic is allowed to run over it.
After putting out on No. 5 green, Hole No. 7 is open with a temporary tee for all golfers at the start of the fairway. Follow the signs and proceed back along the rough on No. 5 to the blocks set up on the start of No. 7 fairway. Please stay off the new ashpalt until Saturday morning!!
