The course is being prepared this morning for Pro's Day with a double shotgun start at 8am and 1:30pm. It's hard to believe it's already the end of July! Where has the summer gone? Or more like it, with the wet, cool weather we've had this season, are we getting a summer?
With all the rain this season and moderate temperatures, the course is in excellent condition for the member's enjoyment during this peak summer time period. It's a total flip-flop from last year's hot, dry summer.
There has been a lot of positive feedback on the new work done on holes 6 and 7. The only work remaining to complete is the hydroseeding fescue on the hillsides that are graded and ready for seed.
The new tees on No. 6 are scheduled to be opened this coming long weekend on Saturday August 5th. The green tee blocks will be placed back up on the new middle tee on No. 6 during the upcoming ladies' day on August 9th. The middle tee plays at 150 yards compared to the existing 126 yard lower green tee placement, which should play similar with the added elevation. Hope you enjoy the view of the lake!

- Remember to repair your ball marks and divots to help keep up with the wear and tear of the busy peak season. Use sand bottles to fill fairway divots only. (Maint staff fills tee divots)
- Please keep the course washroom door closed upon exiting. This will prevent the entry of animals! Also please remember to flush 😲
- When applying bug spray, make sure to do so on the cartpath to prevent turf damage.
- When entering and exiting bunkers, be sure to do so on the low side. Avoid walking up steep bunker faces.
Thanks and have a great round!
