June 29th

It looks like the weather will clear just in time for Ladies' Day this morning for their 8 am shotgun.  Today Environment Canada is calling for it to be cloudy with 40 percent chance of showers. High 20. UV index 5 or moderate. Tonight: Cloudy with 30 percent chance of showers early this evening. Clearing this evening. Low 8.

Golf carts ARE PERMITTED this morning. Remember to repair ball marks. Green speed is 8.5 feet with recent moisture.

Sand will be brushed into verticut slits and mowed on greens in front of ladies this morning to provide a true surface for play.

Underbrush mowing will continue today down the hillside right of upper 6 tee. A process which was completed two years ago is once again in need of some cleanup after some significant regrowth.

The drainage in the rough behind 1 green and the right side of 11 is now completed and sod will be placed in any bare areas and marked ground under repair.

If time permits today, the bare spot on the back edge of the putting green at the proshop will be sodded.

Have a great round.
