It looks as though the winds of November came early for our last official weekend being open at the Club. At the end of the day the proshop officially closes it's doors to mark the end of the 2011 season.
Today Environment Canada is calling for showers with wind west 30 km/h gusting to 50. High 13. Tonight: Showers. Wind becoming west 30 km/h late this evening. Low 7.
With low anticipated play, golf carts ARE permitted. However please use caution to stay 'high and dry' and stay on paths where provided.
Green speed is 8 feet with extreme moisture conditions.
The countdown to winter begins for the course maintenance crew. Several winterization processes must be completed before the snow flies. Tomorrow the irrigation system will be blown out to winterize the pipes for the winter. The solid tine fairway aeration will continue on the back 9 (weather permitting).
